Frequently Asked Questions

  • A dog chaperone looks after your dog on your wedding day so you don’t have to worry about them. We focus on your dog’s comfort, safety and wellbeing throughout the day—whether that’s at the venue, during photos, or between key moments. A good chaperone will also help guide your photographer for great dog photos.

  • Yes - always check your venue’s dog policy first. Some allow dogs only in outdoor areas or for photos, whereas others will let them attend the full ceremony. We can help advise on this as part of your planning.

  • Absolutely! If you’d like your dog in a bow tie, flowers or other accessories, just let us know. We’ll make sure everything is safe and comfortable for them.

  • Every dog is different. Excitable, calm, nervous or confident - and that’s okay. We’ll talk through your dog’s personality in your consultation and plan accordingly. However, if we feel your dog may be unsafe or at risk, we’ll be honest and work with you to find the best solution.

  • If you need overnight care beyond evening wedding coverage, we offer that as an additional option - just let us know so we can plan accommodation and timing. We do not offer home boarding.

  • We always do a pre‑wedding consultation so we get to know your dog’s temperament and needs. If there are concerns around reactivity or stress, we’ll work with you to create a plan that keeps your dog safe and calm.

  • If we’re with you into the evening, a supplier meal is appreciated but not required - otherwise we’re happy to grab a quick bite as needed.

  • Yes - we can care for more than one dog! We’ll just need to budget a little extra time and, for larger groups, potentially an additional team member. Pricing and logistics can be discussed in your quote.

  • Definitely! If you’re unsure which package is best for your timeline, we’re always happy to jump on an informal call to help you decide.
